As a Naturopathic Doctor with a background in nutrition and human kinetics, I’m passionate about teaching my patients how to use food as medicine.  I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to nourish your body with the right whole foods in order to achieve and maintain your optimal state of health.

Knowing what foods fuel your body the best, then incorporating those foods into your diet is the key to unlocking your full health potential.  There’s not simply one “right diet” for the 7 billion people inhabiting our planet. That’s why I spend the time necessary with my patients to figure out what foods work best for them and which they need to avoid through assessing their nutritional status and running bloodwork such as food sensitivity testing.

The foods we eat form the foundation of our digestive and overall health. Modern, mainstream diets are a far cry from what our ancestors (even as recent as our grandparents) consumed; they are high in sugar, refined carbohydrates, saturated and trans fats all of which have been proven to deteriorate our health.
