Fall Detox Smoothie:

  • 2 cups frozen fruit (PC organics power fruit blend)
  • 1 cup swiss chard (leaves only, save the stalks for later use in soup or stew)
  • 2 tbsp ground flax
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice

Directions: combine the ingredients above, in the order they are listed, in a blender, magic bullet or vitamix.  Blend until smooth.
Serves 2.  Store any unused portions in a glass jar in the fridge.
